re: merge

Hi. You all have an extremely impressive Wiki here. As far as the merge is concerned, it sounds like quite an undertaking to me- I'd like to know how much work or how long it takes to do something of this magnitude. The Battlefront Wiki has well over 300 articles now (not to brag- most of this is my work- last year at this time there were about 20 articles). IT seems like it would take a while. Have you had any previous merges? However, I do see some benefits. I never got the founder of the site to grant me Beaurocrat status, and he never visits the Wiki, so I've been the only admin for a while now. This means I have a lot of work and things often get done slowly, since I have been vacationing a lot. It would be nice to have other admins around. That reminds me- would I be able to become an admin here if we did merge? I'm sure this site is much more well-known than the Battlefront site. I know this is a lot of questions, but if you would answer them it would be a great help to me in making the decision. Thanks- Kanogul ^(talk)

• I'm really leaning toward merging, but there are a few more questions I have. If we merge, would the Battlefront pages go with similar pages of other games(e.g. would the Battlefront page for Luke Skywalker be merged with the Luke Skywalker page on this Wiki) or would they be distinguished from other games somehow. Also, are you all some type of subsidiary of Wookiepedia? Finally, would the pages from the Battleffront Wiki replace the Battlefront pages of this Wiki if they were better?   • There are only a couple more things to do before we can merge (at least on my end). First, I have opened a poll to see what the other users think about the merge. As of the time of this message, the tally, including me, is 3-0 in favor of the merge (there probably won't be too many more votes). I will know for sure on Friday afternoon, when I close the voting session. The merge will probably happen no matter what the poll turns up, but I do want to see what others think about it. Really, other than that, I think I'm pretty much ready to do the merge- I'm pretty excited about it. If you want to tell me or ask me anything else, you can use my talk page on this Wiki if you like. The way things are looking, we'll be ready to begin merging on Saturday. I uploded some more pics I took but for some reson pain darkened them after I saved them. Also I dont have time to find the copywrite template name, and I know you know it, if you could tell me. Also due to my cousin being here I cant be here that much especially when your on, hopefully ill catch you when your on IRC when I can go on so you can tell me this thing that could hurt SWGames. HoloNet

Okay, its fine, it wasn't an emergancy or anything. Anyway, I think we can get HoloNet done tommorow, I'm gonna be on almost the whole day from at least 9:00 A.M CST to 10:00 P.M CST, and since I'm director in staff and I do most of the work (You do too though), I can can get it done, but we're not starting until we're both here, and possibly when Boba is too. Also, when I meet you on the IRC, I'll get that GMail thing so I can look at the emails, so, Meet me on the IRC. The Fanon Menace

I don't know if you remember me mentioning on IRC once, Ryluk and i have been working on a spoof of The Phantom Menace, that is one reason why i haven't been on recently. I've been putting a lot of finishing touches on it. Anyway. If you want to check out the trailer we made for it. We're trying to turn it into a tv series like thing, so it won't be one long movie. Darthipedia

How much do you know about this Darthipedia? I checked it out, but i'm still a little confused. What kind of humor? Like spoofs, or just plain stupid-silly stuff that people can put in Star Wars. Thanks on the review. I should have the first part up tomorrow. Hopefully...can't count on a good internet connection, so it may take forever, but it should be up. more from Battlefront

Hey, it's been a while since I updated you on the merge progress. We held the voting, and even though the votes barely said the community would rather not merge, I think we are probably going to anyway. It's just too much of a hassle for me to administrate the other Wiki all by myself. Also, I have recently started other Wikia, like the Battle for Middle-Earth Wiki], so my little time I have away from schoolwork is being stretched very thin. I don't know if you are still in school or not, but if you have time, you can go ahead ang start incorporating our pages over here if you like (I probably won't have time for a couple of weeks). This is a big help to me, and thanks for inviting us to merge. I look forward to what the future will bring to this Wiki. SWGames-THE GAME

How whould you like to be the lead designer and director of Force powers and feats for SWGames-THE GAME, youll be incharge of finding, making, force powers and feats, and also you can delagate worker peoples to make and design ones to. Ill tell you more on IRC latter :) I also had cool ideas for the game. I already did a dry test run of dual mode against my cousin, she won(and she didnt really do anything so its sad scince I was the one playing and she just watched). So to beta test it and stuff Im creating a demo version that shoulnt take to long to set up, and then it should be fairly simple to create missions for, I just have to finish some templates and then itl be easy, also itl make it easyer to make forcepowers and stuff as were all playing it and stuff, also itl give me a chance to see how itl work and any changes that may be needed before the final one is made.

I want to upload an image I found on wookiepedia for the article I am going to make (Urai Fen). I don't have a clue how to do this (I tried once on the battlefront wikia and gave up).
