Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace is game in which you play as a variety of characters including Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padmé Amidala, Captain Panaka and Qui-Gon Jinn. The player works their way through various levels based closely on the storyline of the movie, traveling to well known planets such as Tatooine, Coruscant, and Naboo. Depending on character selection, the player can wield an array of weapons from blasters and thermal detonators, to lightsabers and rocket propelled grenades. It is also one of the first games of the Star Wars genre to come out for the Playstation console.
