Star Wars Battlefront: Mobile Squadrons is an upcoming game being developed for the mobile platform. It was announced on January 8, 2009 by THQ Wireless. Since then THQ Wireless has shut its doors, it is unknown whether or not if this title will ship at all or ship with all of the features that were planned.

The developer of Star Wars: Battlefront I & II, Pandemic Studios, was bought by Electronic Arts, eliminating the option to use the licensed property from Lucasfilm that they previously had the rights to.
