Rosh Penin is a male human who is a Jedi Trainee when he meets Jaden Korr on his way to the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV. He becomes the padawan of Kyle Katarn along with Jaden. Rosh, however turns to the dark side after he was captured on his mission to Byss. Rosh and Jaden confront each other on Vjun, where Tavion revealed her presence once again. Later on, Rosh sees his mistake and tries to convince Jaden that he was wrong and is willing to turn back. Jaden forgives him, but Alora, Tavion's apprentice, cuts off Rosh's arm in an attempt to strike Jaden down. Rosh survives his encounter and returns to the Academy where he is given a cybernetic arm.

Alternative EndingsEdit

In the game Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, the player has a choice to deactivate their lightsaber and save Rosh, or strike him down and turn to the dark side. If the player chooses to turn the dark side, the player still has to fight off Alora, but in the end, kills Rosh in the process.
