From SWGames, the Star Wars Games Wiki, currently editing over 2,050 articles
The battle on Korriban, in Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron takes place in the most important sections of the planet related to the Sith, such as the Sith academy. The battle takes place mostly indoors. The outdoor locations are the Sith academy and the Valley of the Dark Lords. Indoors or outdoors the battlefield is very dark.

There are Health and Ammo Droids at every command post.

[edit] Sith Academy
The Sith Academy is an outdoor area, surrounded by high rock cliffs and many piles of rubble. It looks like the entrance to the entire Sith academy, however all other paths away from the academy are cut off by rubble, because of the need to limit the amount of space in the map. The area is quite dark but the entrance/exit is lit by two dome shaped lights. The entrance/exit leads to an indoor section, with red carpet. In the centre of the circular room there is a holomap, similar to the one seen on Coruscant in Star Wars: Battlefront II. There are also some pillars which provide great cover to any defender or attacker. If you continue through the building you are in an open area next to the rest of the Sith complex and the Valley of the Dark Lords. Notable features of the academy are the rock debris and flame lighting.
[edit] Valley of the Dark Lords
The Valley of the Dark Lords is a small ruined shelter with multiple entrances and no roof. The broken walls provide great cover. As there is no roof this is the perfect place for a Jetpack or Jumpack attack. There are two main entrances/exits. One leads towards a cavern with a dead end, the other leads to an open area. From there you can go into a small indoor area, near the Sith Academy or into the main complex and the Sith Tomb Atrium. The most notable feature is the flaming torches which provide great concealment from enemy forces.
[edit] Galactic Empire/CIS
[edit] Inner Sith Tomb
The Inner Sith Tomb is the furthest part of the Sith complex on Korriban. It is right next to the Sith Tomb Atrium and is completely indoors. The actual command post is below some stairs that lead to a permanently closed door (Presumably the actual tomb). There is a slightly raised edge behind the command post and boxes to the right and left. These provide great cover to attackers and defenders. There is a dead end to one side of the command post that can be used to ambush any attacker trying to take the command post. The bases to the flaming torches can be used as cover, and by standing on the flame (you will need a Jetpack/Jumpack and will suffer no damage) you receive good concealment.
[edit] Sith Tomb Atrium
The Sith Tomb Atrium is surrounded by wide staircases, low ledges and flaming torches, all of which can be used to an attacker or defenders advantage. The ledges provide a height advantage and a less limited view of the battlefield, the flaming torches provide cover and concealment and the stairs allow you to vary your height, during intense fights. The command post has two entrances/exits, one leads to the Inner Sith Tomb, and the other leads to the Valley of the Dark Lords

[edit] Hero Strategy
[edit] Darth Sidious and Count Dooku
Their Force Lightning greatly stuns groups of enemies and does some minor damage allowing the heroes to finish them off after. The Force Choke ability is great for damaging and stunning enemy heroes
[edit] Yoda
Yoda’s unique close combat attacks give him a great advantage when in the narrow corridors of the ‘’Sith Tomb Atrium’’
[edit] Luke Skywalker
Luke Skywalker is useful in choke points, tunnels and alleys but, he is a very easy target at the open area next to the Valley of the Dark Lords as he only has close combat attacks (Lightsaber throw is very unreliable)
[edit] Vehicles
There are no vehicles in this battlefront.
[edit] Capture The Flag
The Galactic Empire/CIS capture zone is at the Inner Sith Tomb whilst the Galactic Republic/Rebel Alliance capture zone in at the Sith Academy. The only strategy is speed and grouping together. Other than different objectives, the easiest way to win is to treat it like a conquest battle but make sure that you kill any enemy you see, as there is only one way to each flag zone.
