Two LAAT/is and a Republic Assault Ship

The Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry, also known as LAAT/i or Republic Gunship, was a vehicle for the GAR, but was also used by the Rebel Alliance as a boarding vehicle to try and take over enemy Capital ships. It had a complement of 4 74-Z speeder bikes. It carried one pilot and three gunners. It carried three laser cannons, four beam cannons, and two missile launchers.

Star Wars: Battlefront seriesEdit

Star Wars: BattlefrontEdit

In Star Wars: Battlefront the LAAT/i was used as an air transport/attack craft in the Geonosis and Bespin Platforms levels. It carried five crew members; pilot, co-pilot, two turret gunners, and one passenger. In the Geonosis level, the player can use an LAAT/i to destroy the three Techno Union ships used CIS as command posts.

Star Wars: Battlefront IIEdit

In Star Wars: Battlefront II the LAAT/i is only playable in space battles, used by the GAR and Rebel Alliance as boarding vehicles. It is a mobile command post, which can be used to spawn players when landed anywhere. On the level Dagobah: Swamp, there is a downed gunship next to one of the command posts. It is not part of any objectives and is simply scenery. Also, the player has to retrieve a power cell from another downed LAAT/i to restore a broken down AT-TE on Felucia. On Mygeeto: War-Torn City, the player has to retrieve a power crystal from a power generator and return it to an LAAT/i to beat the level.

Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade SquadronEdit

Star Wars: The Clone WarsEdit

In Star Wars: The Clone Wars the LAAT/i, in this game, is used as a transport on the planet Rhen Var, piloted by Anakin Skywalker to evacuate the small Jedi Temples located in the icy mountains of the planet.
