Kento was a Jedi that was killed during the Great Jedi Purge by Darth Vader. Kento's wife was killed by Trandoshan slavers earlier in his life. Kento was killed on Kashyyyk when Darth Vader Force choked him, Starkiller was then taken by Darth Vader to become his secret apprentice after Vader sensed his potential.
