Kamino was the planet where the clone troopers were originally created. It was the Republic's base planet in Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront II.

In Star Wars Battlefront, Kamino had seven Command Posts, the Alpha 1, 2, and 3; the Beta 1, 2, and 3; and the Cloning Center. It usually started out with both factions holding one of their own command posts while the other command posts were neutral.
