A Jetpack was a propulsion device used by Jango Fett and his son Boba Fett, as well as the Jet Trooper. It allowed the user to hover in midair, and even fly, depending on where the unit is aimed. In Battlefront I and II, it had a limited amount of fuel (which automatically recharged when not in use).

A jetpack offered a great degree of mobility in the air, though often at the personal risk of the user.
