The Jedi Code was the Code of the Jedi Knights of the Old Republic. It governed the actions and behavior of the Jedi Order, checking and balancing the pull of the Dark Side.

The Code was as follows:
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no death, there is the Force.

The Sith Code is nearly the opposite of the Jedi Code.
