Jango Fett, a Mandalorian warrior turned bounty hunter after the crushing defeat of his clan. Making his home on Outland Station, a space station that caters to those that wish not to be found as well as those just making a living in the galaxy, Jango worked for the space stations owner, a Toydarian named Rozatta.

Jango’s past is clouded in mystery and legend, either by his own making or just from the turmoil at the time. On of the stories of his past tells that he was orphaned when his family was killed on Concord Dawn during a battle between the Death Watch and the Mandalorians. One of the commanders, Jaster Mereel, of the Mandalorian forces took pity on the young Jango and took him into the clan as a cadet. As part of the mercenary army, Jango learned the various skilled that he needed to survive and quickly rose through the ranks to eventually take the place of Mereel when he fell in battle to become the youngest commander of a Mandalorian Army.

While fighting to suppress a revolt in the Galidraan System, the Mandalorians were met with Jedi Knights, whom wiped out most of the army and then took the survivors to the Galidraan governor. It was here that Jango became a slave for the next several years while he recuperated from the battle and plotted his escape. Breaking free of his captors he reclaimed his armor and extracted revenge upon those that held him as a slave, leaving to become a bounty hunter.

Later he was hired by Darth Tyranus to hunt down and capture dead or alive Komari Vosa, the leader of the Bando Gora. Upon accomplishing his task, Jango was paid the bounty as well as made an offer to become the genetic basis for an army of clones. Kept on reserve at Kamino, Jango made only one request, and that was to have a clone of him self made without any genetic alterations to make it grow faster or less docile, naming him Boba. Even with his pay, Jango could not resist the thrill of the hunt and took a job to assassinate a Senator from Naboo, a mission that left one of his former allies, Zam Wesell, dead.

After escaping to Geonosis from Obi Wan Kenobi, Jango took part in the first battle of the Clone Wars that pitted the droid army of the CIS against the Republic Army comprised of his own clones. In the battle, Jango was beheaded by Mace Windu after having killed one Jedi during the battle as well as one of the beasts used in the Genosians coliseum. His unaltered clone, whom he raised as a son, would take up the trade of a bounty hunter as well.
