IFT-T is an Imperial medium tank that appears in Star Wars: Battlefront II. It was an improved version of the Clone-era IFT-X. This vehicle has never appeared in the Star Wars movies.

It is equipped with two anti-infantry blaster cannons as its primary attack and the powerful long-range missile launchers for the secondary. As is the case for other Battlefront vehicles, the ammunition for both weapons is infinite, although the blaster cannons can overheat. These two weapons are controlled by the vehicle's driver, but it also has a gunner who operates the beam cannon turret atop the tank. The latter fires second-long laser beams and is virtually identical to the Laser Turret in its power.

It should be noted that unlike other Imperial vehicles, this is a clear improvement over its predessedor. Firstly, it is much faster and more maneouvreable than IFT-X, while possessing the same health. Its blaster cannons also have much higher rate of fire and take a lot longer to overheat. Finally, the beam turret is smaller, making it harder to snipe the gunner from there.

IFT-T is used by the Empire on the Utapau, Mygeeto, Kashyyk, Naboo and Yavin 4 maps, where it is opposed by the Rebel AAC-1. It possesses great advantage at long range, as its weapons are more accurate and do more damage per hit. At short range, however, the AAC-1 will win, as most of its missile battery will impact it with devastating results. As you possess superior speed and maneouvreability, you should do your best to stay away from it.
