Little is know of Yoda's Species, and after Yoda's death in 4 ABY, there is no other way to learn about the species. Therefore we only have a few facts, and much speculation.

Based on Yoda, it is believed that the species was around 0.7 meters in height with greenish-brown, leathery skin, and tridactyl hands, with "claws," anisodactyl feet, long, pointed ears, and sharp teeth. The average life span is believed to be 900 Galctic Standard Years.
What is Believed[]
The name and homeworld of this species remains unknown. Members of the species were very small, most standing below 70 centimeters, but had extremely long lifespans lasting many hundreds of years. Based on the accumulated thoughts of many Star Wars fans, it is believed that the blood of the species is green, and that because of their teeth, they are a carnivorous species. All know members of the race were very wise, and had and extraordinary connection the the Force. Yoda, the most well know of the species, was the Jedi Grand Master, and was one of the most powerful Jedi in the history of the Order. The species bore resemblance to Lannik species, mainly due to their ears and short structure, although it is highly unlikely they are related because the species is more Humanoid in appearance, and have a different evolutionary history.
