The Armored Assault Tank, usually abbreviated to AAT, is a heavy vehicle used by the Trade Federation and later by the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Star Wars: Battlefront series[]
It the Star Wars: Battlefront and its sequel, the AAT appears on Utapau, Naboo, Mygeeto, Yavin 4, Polis Massa (where it can be used by both sides), Tatooine and Kashyyk (first game only for the last two). It is a balanced tank, posessing moderate health and speed. Its pilot can attack with twin anti-infantry laser blasters and 2 anti-armor missile launchers. The second crewmember operates heavy, fully enclosed turret at the top, which is very accurate, powerful and has small AoE, but is also slow to reload.
Overall, it is the most balanced and useful CIS vehicle in the game and a good match for IFT-X. Like any other Battlefront vehicle, it can be repaired by the friendly engineers and sliced into by the enemy ones, which takes several seconds and will eject the current crew from the vehicle so that it can be taken over. Its weak point is a square hatch at the back, and all attacks landing there will do vastly increased damage.
