The Jet trooper was a specialized Clone trooper that featured a Jetpack to fly from place to place in a short period of time.

Battlefront Series[]
Battlefront I and II[]
The Jet trooper appears in both games in the Star Wars: Battlefront Series, Star Wars: Battlefront and Star Wars: Battlefront II. In both games, the trooper has a limited power Jetpack which recharges after a short period on the ground and carries an EMP launcher, thermal detonators, and a commando pistol as their sidearm. In Battlefront II, the Jet trooper is a special unit and the player must gain twelve points before the trooper can be used. During battles on Polis Masa, the Jet Trooper's jet pack is of limited use due to the low ceilings that are present in most of the area.
Renegade Squadron[]
In Renegade Squadron the Jet Trooper can be created in the Customization screen, if certain options are chosen.
Weapons and other artillary[]
Jet Troopers are heavily equipt with a rocket launcher and pistol. They use a jetpack to fly and avoid enemies. This is a great use for sneaking behind the enemy lines. Jet Troopers don't commonly fly when using a rocket launcher, thus they do not fall down often. They are similar to Clone Troopers in appearence.
