The Jekk'Jekk Tarr was a cantina on Nar Shaddaa which circulated fumes lethal to Humans and Nikto, but commonplace for, and in fact preferable to, many alien species. It was divided into five sections, lit with green or red light.

During her time on the planet in 3,951 BBY, the Jedi Exile was lured here by Visquis in an attempt to claim the Exchange's bounty on Jedi. She survived using Breath Control to conserve oxygen and killed all the bounty hunters and other bar patrons whom Visquis sent to attack her. Meanwhile, she convinced the Lunar Shadow captain to go back to his crew before continuing her pursuit down the tunnels into Visquis's lair. After returning, the Exile found that the Jekk'Jekk Tarr was closed.

Behind the scenes[]

  • The Jekk'Jekk Tarr base was originally to have been a lair of the bounty hunter guild Genoharadan, but this was cut from the final game and the base became the stronghold of Visquis and the Exchange.
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, the only source thus far in which the Jekk'Jekk Tarr appears, misspells the place's name once as Jek'Jek Tarr (in the Music list accessible from the game's menu screen).
  • In the game, the Exile can also recruit Odis to be the new captain for the Lunar Shadow crew before entering the Jekk'Jekk Tarr. Nevertheless, the former captain cannot be killed, and is the only patron to remain neutral during the skirmish.
