The Double-bladed lightsaber was a weapon that consisted of an elongated metallic cylinder for a hilt that emitted beams of light on two ends of the cylinder that could cut through almost anything. It was an elite weapon, chosen mostly by the Sith, though some Jedi wielded double-bladed lightsaber. Like the single-bladed lightsaber, it required a power and focusing crystal and needed much care to put together, making it nearly impossible for Non-Force-Users to construct it, let alone wield it. It was capable of delivering powerful blows depending on the user and if he knew how to wield it. Exar Kun was thought to be the first to construct a double-bladed lightsaber.
