Chronological and political information
Era(s)

Clone Wars, Rise of the Empire, Galactic Civil War, Legacy, New Republic

Boba Fett is a Bounty hunter that often works for the Empire. He is the clone of Jango Fett and has been raised by him, instead of being sent away into the 501st like all other clones. Fett usually appears in his custom-made Mandalorian armour and is armed with an EE-3 carbine rifle, flamethrower, and jetpack. Depending on the game, he might have bonus powers on top of that.

It's worth noting that the armour he wears during the empire's era is the very same armor that belonged to Jango Fett, his adoptive father and the seed for his biological cloning origins.

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire[]

Boba Fett appears at the end of the Gall Spaceport stage as the level's boss. He is equipped with a blaster pistol and heat-seeking missiles along with a jetpack. Dash Rendar must use his acquired jetpack to keep up with him as he darts about the arena. After his health has been depleted, he'll fall right into the launch pad and quickly strap into his Slave I for the second stage of the battle.

LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy[]

Boba Fett as seen in LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga

In LEGO Star Wars: The Original Trilogy and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga Boba Fett has is equipped with his weapon of choice: the EE-3 blaster carbine and he can use thermal detonator or, if purchased, a homing missile launcher on his jetpack. Boba Fett has the ability to hover a few feet off the ground, and go over ledges, using his jetpack (it is similar to R2-D2's jetpacks). As a bonus, his mandalorian armor (excluding the jetpack) is also available for your custom characters. Despite being a clone, it is worth noting that his animations and walking patterns are entirely unique to him. Neither any clones nor Jango Fett share his walkstyle.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy[]

In Jedi Academy, Boba Fett appears in the Ord Mantell: Weapon Destruction level. Here he tries to prevent the player, Jaden Korr, from destroying 5 weapon caches. Fett has his normal weapons in this level: his EE-3 blaster carbine, a flamethrower, a sniper rifle, and rocket launcher. Fett Can also use his jetpack to escape the player if he sustains damage. During the level Fett is invincible and the player must hold Fett off and destroy the 5 weapon caches. At the end of the level, Fett challenges Jaden, and the player must defeat Fett to complete the level. When the player defeats Fett, he flees after saying "No Bounties on you, a shame." In multiplayer modes, Boba Fett is playable and can have Force powers and a lightsaber.

Star Wars: Battlefront II[]

Bfiifett

Boba Fett in Star Wars: Battlefront II.

Boba Fett is a playable hero for the Empire in Star Wars: Battlefront II. He is the most common Imperial hero, appearing on Mygeeto, Kamino, Kashyyk, Yavin 4, Utapau, Felucia, Mos Eisley and Jabba's Palace.

His EE-3 rifle counts as Elite Rifle for the purposes of the game, firing in a second-long, highly damaging bursts. His flamethrower sets everyone in 2m range on fire, but it does very weak damage and the enemies on fire aren't impaired in any way (i.e. they aren't screaming from pain, trying to run, shooting with reduced accuracy, etc.). It also has low ammunition and is a sub-par weapon overall.

For his secondary attack, he possesses 5 wrist rockets and 4 detpacks. The former will kill infantry in one hit and have minor AoE, but travel slowly, and are thus best utilised against Wookie Warriors, Rebel Marksman and Laser Turrets at long range. The latter are effective against vehicles, heavy turrets and other objects. They can also be dropped in an enemy-heavy area, then detonated when he pulls out through the use of his jetpack, which is indentical to the Jet Trooper ones.

Star Wars: Empire at War[]

In both the original game and the Forces of Corruption expansion, Boba Fett is a hero for the Empire that can be purchased at Tier 2 for 1700 credits both in Land and Space modes.

In Land battles, he is arguably the weakest Empire hero. His blaster rifle is the weakest hero weapon and shoot-outs with even basic Rebel Soldiers can stretch out forever. His flamethrower ability is his only significant damage dealer, burning up entire infantry squads in several seconds and dealing significant damage to vehicles and buildings. It's flaw is a long recharge time, and he struggles to engage in proper combat during this period.

His jetpack allows him to travel across the whole map to any area, but this kind of travel is still far from instant and can take up 20+ seconds on larger maps. This does make him quite effective at capturing remote structures and landing pads, and allows him to flee from the enemy when he's wounded. However, his overall flaws outway his potential and he isn't worth it. A 2-M Repulsor Tank brigade or a TIE Mauler unit would be far more useful investments.

However, When used in Space battles, Boba Fett is arguably one of the strongest units in the game, for his size that is. He is effectively a faster, minature, corvette class ship but with a with a very strong seismic charge ability, making him easily able to devistate entire fighter squadrons with ease. Use him to lure out fighters or even bigger ships to the rest of your fleet and he can quickly change the tide of any battle.

Boba Fett's seismic charge ability is capable of eliminating any fighters that are unlucky enough to be inside it's area of effect. This ability can even do decent chunks of damage to larger ships, but losses effectiveness on anything bigger than a corvette class ship.

Star Wars Demolition[]

In Star Wars Demolition, Boba Fett fights using only his jetpack. He is a fast and powerful character, using his blaster rifle and jetpack mounted Missiles to great effect.

Victory Clip[]

Boba is lounging in Jabba's throne room when Lyn Me walks up to him and offers him a drink, which he accepts. Jabba is talking to the Mandalorian Bounty Hunter in huttese, presumably congratulating him on his win while Salacious Crumb cackles to himself, all the while holding a bottle of alcohol. The scene ends with Fett toasting to Jabba.

Defeat Clip[]

Jabba says some words to Boba angrily in huttese while Boba walks up to him and stops on the Rancor Pit Trap Door. Jabba hits the switch and Boba is dropped in, but flies out a few seconds later using his jetpack before escaping the throne room. Jabba laughs uproariously in response.
