Wookiees were eight-foot-tall bipeds. Sometimes called "walking carpets," although rarely to their face, they were completely covered in hair, even on their hands. The Wookiee homeworld was Kashyyyk. Wookiees were known as great warriors, the most famous and notable was perhaps Chewbacca. Wookiees were exceptionally talented at fixing things and were rumoured to be able to construct a space ship from wood.
