Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith or more commonly known as Revenge of the Sith and ROTS, is a video game, based on the movie with the same name. It involves many of the same characters, including Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Yoda, following the same events, during the Clone Wars. As the player progresses through the game, certain single-player and multiplayer missions can be unlocked, along with new duelists, including Darth Vader and Ben Kenobi from Episode IV.

Story Missions[]

The Invisible Hand[]

Rescue Over Coruscant
In this level, the player plays as Anakin Skywalker and learns all the basic moves and force powers while battling their way through the hanger, fighting off B1 Battle Droids and harder B2 Super Battle Droids. The player learns how to use the force to move objects and jump greater distances.

An Explosive Development
In this level, the player plays as Obi-Wan and has to journey through the fusel lodge of the ship and make there way over to the other side. In it, new enemies are introduced, the Grapple Droids and the Buzz Droids.

Peril in the Elevators
In this level, the player plays as Anakin Skywalker as he and Obi-Wan journey up the elevators towards the spire where Palpatine is being held. In it, Anakin faces a new enemy, Flying Battle Droids, along with two previous ones, Grapple Droids and Buzz Droids. When Anakin and Obi-Wan aren't fighting on the elevators, they are just inside, fighting off Droidekas.

Settling the Score
In this level, the player plays as Anakin Skywalker, while he and Obi-Wan face off against Count Dooku. In the level, there are three areas, the council room, the upper deck, and the lower deck. Once the player reaches the lower deck, Count Dooku calls upon some B2 Super Battle Droids to help him in his duel. The level ends with Anakin saber stabbing Dooku infront of Palpatine.

It's Not Over Yet
In this level, the player plays as Anakin Skywalker and has to help Obi-Wan and Plapatine get back to the hanger to leave the ship, but instead get split up. Anakin, then has to find his way through the center of the ship, while Obi-Wan and Palpatine make their way around. During the level, Anakin and R2-D2 meet up and try and find the others. Towards the end, after everyone meets up, Obi-Wan gets a distress call from a nearby Venator-class Star Destroyer, and they journey into a turret chamber to help out the vessel. Anakin and Obi-Wan, then use the turrets to shoot down the attacking CIS vessel and help the Venator-class Star Destroyer.

The General's Right Hand
In this level, the player plays as Anakin Skywalker as he, Obi-Wan, and Palpatine have been captured by General Grievous. The General sends his IG-100 MagnaGuards on the two Jedi, and Anakin is forced to fight. Eventually, the Invisible Hand gets hit and starts to rotate onto it's side, where the two Jedi have to fight off both the MagnaGuards and Grapple Droids. When a neaby Venator-class Star Destroyer crashes into a Droid control ship, sending a shock wave, knocking the vessel upside down, Anakin and Obi-Wan have to then fight more MagnaGuards on the ceiling. Finally, the ship is flipped back right-side-up and the level ends.

Utapau[]

Investigating Utapau
In this level, the player plays as Obi-Wan Kenobi as he investigates the presence of the CIS on the planet Utapau, while in search for General Grievous. Throughout the level, Obi-Wan encounters a new enemy the Crab Droid. Obi-Wan has to use a special grapple combination to climb on top and slice the Crab Droid down. But the the Crab Droid continually throws Obi-Wan off, so he has to grapple repeatedly. Once the Droid is destroyed, Obi-Wan continues onto the next level.

The Calvary Arrives
In this level, the player plays as Obi-Wan Kenobi as he faces off against the General's MagnaGuards. Once the MagnaGuards are defeated, Obi-Wan force jumps up to a higher level, were a heavy presence of droids are located. Just as they are about to pounce on Obi-Wan, a group of Clone troopers come in and help out Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan radios in that Grievous escaped and orders Commander Cody to locate him, but is told that he can't, not while under heavy fire. Obi-Wan then leaps over to opposite sides of the the platform to take out the two turrets that are hindering the Clone advance, but Obi-Wan and this cluster of Clones are cut off by ray shields. Obi-Wan, then, has to go and find the controls to the ray shields and shut it down, but encounter more of Grievous' MagnaGuards. Once Obi-Wan finds, the controls, he uses The Force to bring down the controls, and is able to get reinforcements in, but only to face another Crab Droid. He takes care of it, the same way he did the first, and gets word that Grievous is on the run.

Showdown with Grievous
In this level, the player plays as Obi-Wan Kenobi as he hunts down and confronts General Grievous. There are four levels, where the two battle it off, the council room, lower platform, caves and landing platform. Even though, General Grievous doesn't have force powers, he has two powerful secondary weapons, that he uses instead. One is an ElectroMagnetic blaster, and the other is just a plain blaster pistol. On the fourth level, the landing platform where his vessel sits, Grievous reveals his four lightsabers and Obi-Wan and he face off again. It ends when Obi-Wan saber stabs Grievous through his armor plates.

Coruscant[]

The Dark Side of the Force
In this level, the player plays as Anakin Skywalker as he faces off against Mace Windu. There are four levels, Palpatine's office, two lower platforms and back again in Palpatine's office. In the level, Anakin has to fight hard because Mace Windu randomly begins to heal himself, using Force heal. The level ends with Anakin saber stabbing Mace Windu and force kicking him out of the window. He pledges himself to the Order of the Sith Lords, becoming Darth Sidious' apprentice takes on the mantle of Darth Vader.

The Hunt Begins
In this level, the player plays as Darth Vader as he hunts down all the Jedi in the Jedi Temple looking for the signalling beacon. He mets up with Jocasta Nu, and asks for the signal beacon. When she refuses to show him, Vader kills her. He then faces off against all the other Jedi Padawan and Kinghts that were present in the Archives when he entered. One, though, manages to lock the doors and force Vader to divert his plans a little. Vader Force Jumps to the upper level of the Archives and shut down the ray shields blocking his way. Once he returns to the first level, he continues on his way through the Temple, killing all in his path. When he finally reaches the signal beacon, he is able to send out a signal telling all Jedi to return to Coruscant where he and Darth Sidious will be waiting. He is told, after the signal is sent out, that a Jedi has broken the outer defenses and Vader senses it is Cin Drallig. He leaves, telling the clone assassins to guard the beacon with their lives.

The Final Lesson
In this level, the player plays as Vader Skywalker or Darth Vader as he searches out Cin Drallig, but instead finds his most promising student, Serra Keto. He and Serra battle it out and until Vader kicks her off a platform onto the meditation room below and collapses a pillar on her. Cin Drallig, though, happened to be nearby when the pillar fell on Serra. Vader then faces off against Cin Drallig in the training room, with his "mastery of swordmanship", and eventually get knocked out onto a platform outside the Temple. Vader and Cin face off again, and it ends with Vader throwing his saber at Cin Drallig, fatally stabbing him through the gut. Retrieving his lightsaber, Vader observes the destruction, saying, "This will be a day long remembered. Soon the Jedi will be no more."

Utapau[]

Attack of the Clones
In this level, the player plays as Obi-Wan Kenobi at the time Order 66 is initiated and his Clones turn on him. Obi-Wan is then forced to run and fight both Clones and Battle Droids, trying to escape the planet. In doing so, he is confronted by an LAAT/i and has to take it down using bombs located on the bridge he was running down. Later on in the level, Obi-Wan manages to jump onto a Juggernaut escaping from a group of clones that had pinned him down. He disables the juggernaut by distroying the turrets located on top of the vehicle. He jumps onto a nearby ledge, which leads him straight out to where General Grievous' ship sat.

Mustafar[]

Assassination on Mustafar
In this level, the player plays as Darth Vader as he travels to Mustafar to eliminate the Separatist leaders. While on the planet, Vader runs into trouble and has to fight his way to the control room, where the leaders wait in suspense. Once he arrives at the door, he force pushes a piece of the door, which squishes Poggle the Lesser. The rest of the leaders retreat into the nearby council chamber, where Nute Gunray escapes, locking the rest inside for Vader to slaughter. Vader manages to catch up with Gunray, though, as he boards his ship trying to escape the planet, but is killed when Vader destroys the ship and sends it into the lava pit below.

Coruscant[]

Aftermath in the Temple
In this level, the player plays as Obi-Wan as he and Master Yoda storm the Jedi Temple trying to revert the signal beacon. As they enter the temple, they are spotted and quickly surrounded by Clone troopers. Obi-Wan and Yoda, then have to fight there way to the signal beacon, after fighting off a new enemy, Clone snipers, and other specialists. They are forced to split up, to divide the clone forces in two, and came back together once they reached the Archives. Once in the Archives, Obi-Wan notices in the distance the body of Jocasta Nu. Yoda tells him that only hatred could have done all the destruction. They eventually make it to the upper levels, where they are attacked by two LAAT/i's. Obi-Wan is forced to use a turret to take down the LAAT/i's and he proceeds onto the beacon room, where he is attacked by six Clone Assassins. Obi-Wan defeats them all, and continues to change the beacon to warn Jedi not to return to Coruscant.

Mustafar[]

A Friendship in Flames
In this level, the player plays as Obi-Wan as he faces off against Darth Vader, in an attempt to destroy the Sith. The level is made up of six dueling arenas, where the Obi-Wan has to confront Vader. The six levels consist of the Landing Platform, Control Room, Balcony, Lower Platform, Control Arm, and the Lava Platform. The level ends with Obi-Wan Force jumping to higher ground. He warns Vader not to jump after him, who replies that Kenobi underestimates the dark side. Vader tries to follow, but Obi-Wan cuts him down in mid-air, severing Vader's left arm and both legs. Obi-Wan picks up Vader's lightsaber and walks away.

Revenge of the Sith

In this level, the player Darth Vader, instead. The dueling arenas are the same as A Friendship in Flames, only with reverse characters. In the end, Vader Force jumps off the Lava Platform, and narrowly jumps over Obi-Wans attack. When Vader lands on the ground, he flips his lightsaber around and stabs Obi-Wan in the back, and pushes him down the hill. Vader returns to the landing platform where Darth Sidious waits with an escort of clones by his shuttle. Darth Sidious hands Vader his new lightsaber, the hilt based on his first lightsaber and the blade color red. Sidious proclaims that there was no one to stand in their way when ruling their Galaxy. Vader examines the lightsaber for a second, tosses it into the air, igniting the saber as he catches it and plunges the blade into Sidious' chest. The clones raise their rifles at Vader but do not fire. As Palpatine slumps to the ground dead, Vader declares, "No, the Galaxy belongs to me!".
