Dark Jedi were fallen Jedi, or Jedi who had turned to the Dark Side of the Force. They were different than Sith, being less powerful and less organized, but the name is often used interchangeably, especially during the Great Sith War era and the time of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
Some notable Dark Jedi include: Galen Marek, Asajj Ventress, and Aurra Sing.
