Strengths[]

Broadside Missile Cruisers posses Diamond Boron missiles, which are very powerful and very long-range. To compensate for it's lack of armor it can instead hang around behind the action and do some major damage. These cruisers are especially powerful when in a nebulae field since radar is jammed inside of them making the Broadside Cruiser slightly more difficult to find or even notice, making this a valueble location to place one or two Broadsides to attack enemy space stations or fighters.

Weaknesses[]

Despite literally uncontrollable amounts of firepower, the Broadside Cruiser had very little armor and weaker shielding, this in addition to low accuracy and limited speed and poor maneuverability meant keeping enemy units away from Broadside cruisers is a must if you want them to survive a battle. Another weakness is the limited speed of the missiles so while you may be able to fire from all the way across the map, the missile will take time to reach their target, not to mention that firing from a longer range cuts down on the accuracy even further than it already is at.
