Black market operations are the driving technolgical force for the Zann Consortium. They are used instead of upgrading and stealing technology as done by other Faction.

RequirementsEdit

A defiler, credits, and at least one successful piracy operation are required. To recieve technology upgrades from this corruption, one must use a Consortium Hero to purchase the technology, similar to C-3PO and R2-D2 for the Rebels.

BenefitsEdit

Black Market Operations allow for more powerful weapons to be used on Consortium units, such as disruptor weapons for Mercenary Assuault Squads and Shield Leeching for Keldabe-class Battleship.

General black market informationEdit

By corrupting an Empire or Rebel controlled planet you will recieve different technology options. Each side has five upgrades for a total of 10 upgrades. Tyber Zann, Silri, or Urai Fen must purchase them one by one; he is counted as defeated and must revive in order to purchase another upgrade or to be used in battle. It is possible to complete Galactic Conquests without upgrades, although without upgrades, most Consortium units do not reach their maximum potential. Of the Consortium Heroes, only Urai Fen, Zann, and Sirli can purchase Black Market technology.
