|Chronological and political information|
- "It's a trap!"
- —A well-known phrase used by Ackbar[src]
Ackbar was an admiral of the Rebel Alliance and New Republic forces. He used his flagship, a heavily modified Mon Calamari, known as the Home One He was chief among the designers of the B-wing, and led the Rebels in many victories against the Galactic Empire.
Star Wars: Empire at War seriesEdit
His ship has the standard Mon Calamari Cruiser shield boost power and the Home One also has a concentrate fire power that, when used, will have all units fire upon a chosen target.
In the Campaign mode, there is a level in which an Imperial base is raided by Rebels. He is found in the prison chambers by a strike team and claims to have information regarding an Imperial project and Moff Tarkin. They bring him back with them and he informs them that the plans for Mon Cal Crusiers are stored on Carida. After Han Solo and Chewbacca steal the plans. Mon Cal Crusiers become available to build and Admiral Ackbar becomes a usable hero in the Campaign.
In Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption Ackbar serves no plot perpose, but is another strong hero in the Campaign and Skirmish modes of play.
Star Wars: Battlefront seriesEdit
Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade SquadronEdit
In Renegade Squadron Ackbar appears as a hero for the Rebel Alliance on various battlefronts. He is armed with a blaster pistol, which functions much like Han Solo's and Boba Fett's blaster pistols from the previous Battlefront games. He is also armed with Cluster Grenades, Rally and the Orbital Strike Sniper Rifle. Like most heroes in Renegade Squadron, he has infinite ammo in every weapon.
Appearances in Renegade SquadronEdit
Star Wars Battlefront: Elite SquadronEdit
Ackbar presumably appears again as a hero in Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron.
